Liturgical Ministries

Altar Servers

Catholics 2nd grade and above who have received the Sacrament of Holy Communion or are in preparation for First Holy Communion are invited to play an important role in our parish by assisting the priest at daily and Sunday Masses, funerals, weddings, and other liturgical celebrations. Eucharistic Ministers of the Homebound

On Tuesdays, we bring Holy Communion to those who are unable to attend Mass due to illness, disability, or other circumstances, allowing them to partake in this sacred sacrament and experience the presence of Christ. We want individuals that are homebound or in assisted living facilities to have the opportunity to receive the Eucharist and maintain their connection to their faith community and the Church. If you are interested in serving, please click here or contact the office at (843) 875-5002.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion offer the Church’s most precious gift to the assembly: The Body and Blood of Christ. They assist the ordinary ministers of the Eucharist (the priest and deacons) in distribution of Holy Communion during Mass. If you are interested in serving, please click here.

Lectors

Proclaim the Word of God at Mass and other liturgical celebrations and enable others to hear the Good News of God’s faithful promises to us. If you are interested in serving, please click here.

Music Ministry

Sing, cantor or play an instrument at the Vigil or Sunday Masses and special liturgies such as Easter and Christmas Eve. Adult Choir rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. New members are always welcome. The Choir does not meet during the summer. If you are interested in serving, please click here.

Ushers

Volunteers who assist people to their seats if necessary. They also distribute the worship aid, parish bulletin, and take up the offertory collections at each Mass. If you are interested in serving, please click here.
