Thinking of Becoming a Catechist



  • We are always in need of tech savvy folks. Chances are we may be doing some type of online classes and elearning. If you are gifted in that area please think of volunteering.
  • We need substitutes. Due to VIRTUS guidelines we have to have two VIRTUS trained individuals in each class. Most times you will not be expected to teach, just assist
  • We need young influencers who want to share their faith with our chlldren.High school and college aged folks are encouraged to be Assistant Catechists. If you are under 18 you don't have to complete the VIRTUS class, you just need to sign a commitment form.

Catholic Sprouts: This is a new resource that was developed by a Catholic mom and dad to help parents grow their Domestic Church. This is great for families with young children. You and your children can learn about the Catholic faith together. Your child can earn patches and they even have a short podcast you can listen to with your child.
