Adult Faith Formation

We have several offerings for continuing faith formation for adults at our parish.

Adult Faith Formation small groups meet every Thursday. Masks are recommended and social distancing is required at in-person meetings.

Mary, A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother:  Thursday Mornings, 10am-11:30am in the parish Hall.  Classes start 04/08/2021 for 8 Sessions.  $25 for workbook. for more information, contact Pat McConnell

The Fathers of the Church by Pope Benedict XVI: Wednesday mornings with Msgr. Lofton, 10:30-11:30 am in the parish office conference room. September - May. Past class recordingings available here. For more info: Office (843) 875-5002


In the past our small groups have done Bible studies on the Gospels, Acts of the Apostles, New Testament letters of St. Paul and St. James, Old Testament prophets, the Psalms, and the Book of Wisdom. Other topics of study included the Nicene Creed, the Bible Timeline Series, Catholicism, the Eucharist, Mercy, Journey of Hope: Program for Divorce Recovery, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Seven Deadly Sins and Seven Lively Virtues, 7 Steps to Financial Freedom, Momnipotent: Catholic Motherhood, Prayer, the Holy Spirit, and more. 

Our programs include videos, workbooks, and small group discussions. Materials may come from the Augustine Institute, St. Paul's Center for Biblical Theology, Word on Fire, Ascension, St. Joseph Communications, FORMED, or other Catholic resources.
